Pattern info

‘Brighton Pebbles’ is named after the favorite beach of the dyer. The softly heathered yarn used in the sample, and this seaside reference also invokes the ocean theme that inspires so many of my designs. Like the ocean itself, this shawl has a body--an asymmetrical triangle with finished i-cord edges--within which there is endless possibility for variation in mood and texture.

Here the fabric features subtle repeating cables separated by columns that combine horizontal and vertical lines, all adding up to a warm, lavish, complex-looking accessory that is nonetheless easy to knit.

'Brighton Pebbles' is worked flat from the right tip to the left edge.

The pattern is fully written out with stitch counts and includes a chart for the repeats.
