Onweer - Dutch for ‘thunderstorm’
A textured double loop cowl for spring when it’s still a bit chilly outside. The pattern is fully written out with stitch counts and also charted.

Yarn 

2 skeins SnailYarn Merino Twist (100% Superwash Merino, 100 gr-366m/400yds), color Steel.
Sample yardage, 700yds/640m in color Steel.
Or any fingering weight yarn: approx. 700-787yds (640-720m).

24” (minimum 60 cm) circular needles.
US 3 (3.25 mm). 
US 4 (3.50 mm).
Stitch markers, tapestry needle.

Gauge - blocked 4" (10 cm) 

Textured lace pattern, 24 stitches x 42 rounds. 
Cable lace pattern, 28 stitches x 42 rounds.
Gauge is not that crucial, but will affect final size and yardage.

Finished dimensions 

Approx 57” (145 cm) circumference, x 11“ (28 cm).
